Just below and around the Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch lies a cross-country skier's dream is a vast valley of virgin snow pack surrounded by three, towering snow-covered mountain ranges.

On the ranch property alone, there are kilometers of groomed Nordic tracks. And the public land beyond offers so many cross-country adventures you'll actually feel like you're alone exploring your very own country.

But you won't be alone. The Jackson Fork Valley is home to hundreds of wintering moose, elk, and pronghorn. Cast an eye skyward and you'll likely see bald eagles floating above the valley floor in search of their next meal.

You can also glide through the foothills of the nearby Wind River Range along 60km of marked trails that promise unmatched views of the highest peaks and alpine glaciers in Wyoming. Or head up to Jackson for a guided cross-country ski tour of Grand Teton National Park.

Bring your own Nordic skis and gear or we can arrange rentals. We can completely outfit your entire group or family. And while some of our guests prefer to explore on their own, we do offer local guides who can often point out some of the mountains more interesting, and hidden secrets.
